As you know, Streamate has been offering TV shows. They set the minimum to your average gold show price, and guarantee the show. The BIG POSITIVE aspect of this, is that we don't have to worry and stress during the countdown. I stress during the countdown like crazy! We know during that TV show that we are guaranteed that money. I always think that is is really good to try to make your average anyway, to keep that TV Goldshow average as high as possible for the future TV goldshows. But like everything that involves business that you can't look into and know what's going on, there are some seriously suspicious things going on.
Streamate seems to be slowly changing their policies involving certain TV Producers. In the beginning, you used to be able to see the producer during the goldshow countdown, now typically you can only see which number Producer you have once the goldshow starts. I find that different TV Producers seem more honest than others. For example, Producers 14 and 13, never ever gives me additional money from the TV "buy ins." However there are others who seem to always give me money from buy ins. Is it a coincidence that there are never guys who buy in from the TV show from Producers 13 and 14 but the others there always seems to be guys to get in from the other TV Producers. When I say "get in," I mean the guys watching on the TV "buying" into my show, in addition to my promised average? I think NOT! I think that there are some producers that are more honest, and generous, than others; and that's fucking scary and suspicious to me!
In order to do the TV shows you must allow "free chat." Free Chat means that anyone without a membership can view your countdowns or you in your free chat ways. It also means that if you have a membership, you can watch the girl that you like, without her knowing that you are watching. I noticed that my regular guys, whom I absolutely adore, but I digress-- will pop in only when I am doing a crazy cheap show! Why is that, you may ask? They pop in when they see that I am doing a super cheap show, so they can get in, for the minimum price and see my show (what they think) is "guilt free." Super lame and THAT is why Free Chat Sucks! I like it so much better when I can see "JoeSchmo123" in my Party Chat room when I am doing my countdowns. JoeSchmo123 is more likely to bid in higher than my absolute minimum, and not catch me when I am offering super freebies or a crazy low price during the slow periods of my Streamate shift.
I think that the free chat sucks even harder because I am a super private person. I think the free chat allows more possibility of those people you really don't want to know that you "fuck on cam," to see you. I would love to eliminate the free chat, but the TV shows can't go down unless you keep that free chat on. Eliminating the TV goldshows is always an option, one that seems to look more enticing to me everyday, but that 10-13 minutes of time when you feel like you can truly relax during your Streamate shift is SO appreciated that I keep them around. I swear that everyday I am going to get rid of it just because I think there is so many unethical practices going down with the TV shows.
I don't foresee the potential unethical practices getting any better unless we all TALK about it. GIRLS, we have the power to fucking squash the TV goldshows if many of us decide to not allow them. I also think that if we talk to eachother, we might be able to find out more about them. Streamate doesn't like to talk to us about ANYTHING! You would think there was a 24 hour helpline, or an e-mail service just for us, that answers us back with more than just one-two sentence replies. LOL! I really think the Streamate management just wants us to show up, fuck ourselves for that 35%, and sometimes get fucked in more ways than just with the dildos-- but that is for us to ponder.
I am super suspicious and I want to know what you girls think! Feel Free to blog here! I love how you girls email me, but you can comment here to start a conversation. Use a fake user name if you are shy or worried about voicing your opinion.
